How to reduce heating costs in winter? โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Our heating bills skyrocket during the winter. Does anyone have tips for keeping the house warm without cranking up the heater?โ€‹

I've heard that using curtains or blinds to cover windows at night can also prevent heat loss. ๐ŸŒ™ Though it's a simple trick, it can make a difference in keeping your home cozy.โ€‹

Maximize insulation by sealing drafts around windows and doors, investing in heavy curtains, and adding weather stripping. Use programmable thermostats to lower temperatures when away and layer clothing and blankets for added warmth. Additionally, consider alternative heating sources like space heaters or heated blankets for targeted warmth in frequently used areas. ๐Ÿกโ„๏ธ

We layer up! Fleece throws and slippers are a must at home. Also programmed our thermostat to lower a few degrees at night and when we're at work. Doesn't feel like a huge difference, but it helps with the bills for sure. Anyone else have energy-saving hacks for winter?
