Advice on choosing electrical outlets for different areas of the home?

I'm planning to upgrade some of the electrical outlets in my home, but I'm not sure which type is best for different areas like the kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor spaces. Any advice on choosing the right type of outlets for each area?

Hi, for your kitchen I suggest that you look for Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) outlets. These have built-in sensors that shut off power if they detect any imbalance in the electrical flow, which is crucial in a potentially wet environment like the kitchen. Plus, they're great near sinks because they prevent electric shocks

Hello! For outdoor areas like my patio and deck, I prioritize installing weather-resistant outlets. These outlets are designed to withstand moisture, rain, and other environmental elements, ensuring a safe and reliable power supply for outdoor lighting, entertainment systems, and other electrical devices😊
