What are the safety considerations when working w/ electrical system in DIY projects?

I'm interested in tackling some DIY electrical projects around my home, but I want to make sure I prioritize safety. What are the key safety considerations I should keep in mind when working with electrical systems?

Safety first, sparks second! Before you DIY with electricity, make sure to switch off the power and wear your safety gear—zap-proof goggles, anyone? ⚡👓

Safety first, always! When messing with electrical stuff, there are a few key things to keep in mind. First off, shut off the power at the breaker box before you start any work—that's a must. Also, use the right tools and equipment, like insulated screwdrivers and gloves. And don't forget to double-check your work and test everything before you call it a day. It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to electricity!

Hello everyone! Though shortcuts can be tempting, never use damaged cords or tools when working with electricity 🛠️. It's better to replace them than risk injury or fire.
