DIY-friendly tiling patterns for a small bathroom refresh?

Install classic subway tiles in a traditional brick pattern but consider adding a twist by choosing a colored grout. This adds a subtle, yet unique touch to the classic design.

That sounds like a fantastic idea! 🚇 Using classic subway tiles in a traditional brick pattern provides a timeless look, but opting for colored grout adds a fun twist and a personalized touch to the design. It's a great way to inject some personality into a classic style while still maintaining that timeless charm.

Hey Kim! For a more eclectic look, consider mixing different tile sizes and shapes in a random pattern. This can add personality to the space and break up the monotony of uniform tiling. Just for a change hehe ☺

You may try the diagonal pattern, It's a bit more challenging than the grid pattern but can create an interesting visual impact in a small bathroom but if you want mroe artistic design I suggest the Basketweave Pattern, this pattern features square tiles laid in a grid, with pairs of tiles set at right angles to each other

Hello! When refreshing a small bathroom with DIY-friendly tiling patterns, consider options that create the illusion of space while adding visual interest. One effective choice is the classic subway tile layout, which involves arranging rectangular tiles in a staggered brick pattern. This pattern not only adds a timeless appeal but also visually elongates the walls, making the bathroom appear larger.
