Ensuring smart home compatibility across brands – what's your approach? 🏡💡

Hi all! I've been experimenting with different smart home brands lately, and I've run into some compatibility issues. How do you deal with these challenges, and have you found any effective solutions? Share your wisdom!

Hey there! Yeah, smart home compatibility can be a real headache sometimes. Personally, I try to stick to one brand for major stuff like hubs and controllers to minimize issues. Also, I always check for compatibility lists online before buying anything new. It's not foolproof, but it helps! 🏠💻

So, smart home compatibility can be a headache, right? What I do is stick to one brand for the main stuff, like lights and plugs. Then, I try to find a hub or app that plays nice with everything else. Sometimes it's trial and error, but eventually, you figure out the combo that works. Anyone got some secret sauce for avoiding the compatibility mess? 🤷‍♂️🏡
