My toilet seems to be running constantly, and it's driving up my water bill! What are some DIY techniques for diagnosing and repairing a toilet that won't stop running, and are there any temporary fixes I can try until I can address the issue permanently? Let's silence the flush! 🚱

Shut off the water valve behind the toilet first! Then check the flapper and fill valve inside the tank. Those are the usual culprits for running toilets. Replacements are cheap and easy to find at hardware stores. Good luck!

Hey there! shutting off that water valve is step one. Then, taking a peek inside the tank for the flapper and fill valve is the way to go. They're often the sneaky culprits causing all the running havoc. Luckily, you can snag replacements for these bits at hardware stores without breaking the bank. Wishing you smooth sailing and a peaceful toilet!

Check the flapper valve and the float mechanism in the tank for any issues like leaks or misalignments, and adjust or replace them if necessary to restore proper functionality and stop the continuous running.
