How to reduce phantom energy usage? πŸ‘»πŸ”Œ

Hey all! I've heard that appliances can use energy even when they're turned off. How can I minimize this "phantom" energy usage at home?

I think being mindful of standby modes on devices is key. Though disabling these features or using smart plugs that automatically cut power can prevent phantom energy drain. πŸ“±πŸ”‹

To cut down on phantom energy usage, unplug devices when you’re not using them or use power strips to easily switch off multiple items at once. Smart plugs are great tooβ€”they let you control everything from your phone. Save that energy!

Yeah, totally! Unplugging stuff when you're not using them or using power strips is smart. Smart plugs are awesome too, control everything from your phone. Thanks for the tip!

Another tip is to use smart power strips that automatically shut off power to devices not in use. They're convenient and effective!
