Dealing with root rot in houseplants?

One of my houseplants seems to have root rot. How can I treat it and prevent it from happening again? 🛠️

First, you’ll want to gently take it out of the pot and check the roots. Cut away any mushy or black roots, and let the healthy ones dry out a bit. Replant it in fresh, well-draining soil and make sure your pot has good drainage holes.

Ugh, root rot is the worst! 😩 First, make sure your pots have good drainage and check the roots for any mushy spots—trim those off! Also, let the plant dry out a bit between waterings.

First, cut away the rotted roots, repot in fresh soil, and next time, remember: your plant likes sips, not swimming lessons!
