Hi everyone! I'm curious about starting geocaching. What are the basics I should know before diving in, and what makes it exciting for you?

You'll need a GPS device or smartphone with the app, a pen, and a small notebook to log your finds. And always leave the geocache exactly as you found it, and follow any specific rules for the area. πŸ˜‰πŸ‘Œβœ¨

Yep, I’ve done some geocaching! For beginners, make sure you have a GPS-enabled phone or device, and always bring a pen to sign the logβ€”plus, be ready to hike through some unexpected terrain!

Geocaching is such a fun adventure! For beginners, I’d recommend starting with a good app or website to find nearby caches. Make sure to bring a GPS or a smartphone with GPS capability. It’s helpful to read the hints and logs from other cachers; they can give you clues about tricky hides.
