What's the best way to propagate roses? ๐ŸŒนโœ‚๏ธ

I'm looking to expand my rose garden by propagating my existing plants. Any tips or tricks that have worked well for you would be greatly appreciated!

Stem cuttings are the way to go! Spring or early summer is prime time. Snip a healthy stem, take off some leaves, and pop it in some water or moist soil. Baby rose bush in the making! ๐ŸŒนโœจ

Sure thing! Propagating roses can be super rewarding. I've had success with both stem cuttings and layering methods. Make sure to choose healthy, disease-free stems, and use rooting hormone for better results. Patience pays off! ๐ŸŒนโœ‚๏ธ

Once new growth appears, you can gradually acclimate the cuttings to outdoor conditions before transplanting them to your rose garden. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‰โœจ๐Ÿ‘Œ

To propagate roses effectively, take hardwood cuttings in late fall or early winter from healthy, disease-free plants. Remove leaves and trim the bottom at an angle before planting them in well-draining soil or a propagation medium. Keep them moist and sheltered until they root, typically within a few months.
