Absolutely! First tip: start with a high-quality primerβ€”it’ll save you so much hassle! πŸ™Œ Go for a gray-tinted one for the best coverage over dark colors. Then, layer on a couple of coats of your new color, and you’re golden!

Using a quality primer first is keyβ€”ideally a stain-blocking or high-hide oneβ€”to prevent the dark color from showing through, then apply multiple thin coats of your new paint color for a smooth finish! πŸ–ŒοΈπŸŒŸ

Totally agree with doing multiple thin coats – I also swear by using a good primer to really block out the dark color first! It saves time and keeps the new paint from looking streaky. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘ Patience is key, but it’ll look way smoother!
