Drywall DIY is possible! My tips:
    • Measure twice, cut ONCE! Save yourself wasted material.
    • Tight spaces? Use a jab saw for cuts around pipes/outlets, more control than a utility knife.
    • Sanding is key! Extra time sanding between mud coats makes a HUGE difference for a flawless finish.
Anyone have tips for mixing mud to the right consistency? That's my struggle! Good luck with your drywall project!

Absolutely! DIY drywall can be both rewarding and challenging. Hanging it is like putting together a puzzle, but the finishing part? That's where the magic happens. Sanding, mudding, and taping might seem daunting, but with the right tools and a bit of patience, you'll nail it! Just remember: practice makes perfect! 😉

Hey! 🏡 When it comes to hanging drywall, measuring and cutting accurately is key. I like to use a T-square to ensure straight cuts. As for finishing, I find that applying multiple thin layers of joint compound and sanding between each coat helps achieve a smooth surface. And don't forget to use mesh tape for stronger joints! Can't wait to hear other people's techniques!

Yo! For Measure and Cut - Measure twice and cut once to ensure a precise fit, using a utility knife or a drywall saw. ✂️📏

And for Taping and Mudding - Apply tape over seams and corners, then smooth joint compound over the tape with a wide putty knife, feathering the edges for a seamless finish. 🎨🔧

          Hope that helps broskieeeee!
