You're spot on with the subfloor! πŸ’― Leveled = happy knees later on ..For underlayment, I went with the thicker stuff - a little pricier but totally worth it for the soundproofing ..Especially if you have downstairs neighbors 😊

For DIY flooring installation, start by carefully measuring and planning the layout, ensuring proper preparation of the subfloor by cleaning and leveling as needed, choosing the right tools and materials for your specific flooring type, following manufacturer instructions closely during installation, leaving expansion gaps around the edges for wood and laminate flooring, using spacers for even tile placement, and taking your time to ensure a professional-looking result while prioritizing safety and precision throughout the process. πŸ‘πŸ”¨

So exciting! 🏑 For DIY flooring, start by prepping the subfloor and making sure it's clean and level. Measure twice, cut onceβ€”accuracy is key! For easier installs, look into peel-and-stick tiles or click-lock laminate. And don’t forget to acclimate your flooring before installation. πŸ› οΈπŸ‘Œ Happy flooring!
