How do you effectively clean and descale a coffee maker or espresso machine?

My coffee maker seems to be running a bit sluggish lately, and I suspect it might need a good cleaning. What's your preferred method for effectively cleaning and descaling a coffee maker or espresso machine?

Blast those coffee crud monsters away by mixing equal parts water and vinegar, then run it through your machine followed by a couple of plain water cycles. Your coffee maker will be sparkling clean and ready to brew up a storm!

Cleaning and descaling your coffee maker or espresso machine is super easy! 😄 Here's a quick guide:
      1. Vinegar Solution: Mix equal parts water and white vinegar. Pour it into the water reservoir.
      2. Run a Cycle: Start a brew cycle and let it run halfway. Then, turn off the machine and let it sit for 30 minutes. This helps break down the scale.
      3. Complete the Cycle: After 30 minutes, turn it back on and finish the cycle.
      4. Rinse: Run 2-3 cycles with fresh water to rinse out any vinegar taste.

For espresso machines, check the manufacturer’s instructions as they might have specific cleaning solutions or steps. Keeping your machine clean will make your coffee taste even better!
