    Cast iron skillets are prized for their durability and versatility, but proper seasoning and maintenance are key to keeping them in top condition. What are your go-to methods for seasoning cast iron and preventing rust?

    Cast iron is the best! Season with oil after washing, bake it for a while, black magic happens! ✨ Maintain by washing with hot water and no soap please, drying on the stovetop, and a quick oil rub. Skip the dishwasher ..that's a no-no! 🙅

    To season a cast iron skillet, coat it with a thin layer of oil, then bake it upside down in a 350°F (175°C) oven for an hour; after each use, clean with hot water, dry completely, and lightly oil to prevent rust. 🍳
