Just experienced a blackout and it got me thinking—how do your smart homes fare during power outages? Any backup tips?

Smart home setups can be a bit hit or miss during power outages. 🔌⚡ While some devices might have backup batteries, many will go offline when the power cuts out. It’s a good idea to have a backup plan, like a generator or battery pack, to keep essential systems running.

Hello all! I think they can be reliable if you have a backup power source, though they’re not foolproof during long outages. 🔌⚠️

Totally get you! 🤔 During a blackout, smart home setups can be a bit iffy unless you’ve got a solid UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) or backup battery—really helps keep things running smoothly until power’s back.

Smart homes can struggle during power outages, but using a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) for essential devices and having a backup generator can help keep things running smoothly.
